Hope is Hoping for Your Love at Humane Society of Western Montana
It was another Take Me Home Tuesdays visit from the Humane Society of Western Montana to the KYSS FM studios today.
Katie and Jessie from the Humane Society brought in Hope, who is about 5 months old and in need of a very loving, attentive family, preferably one that already has a confident and gentle resident dog who can offer support and guidance to her. That's because Hope is severely visually and hearing impaired.
Yes, Hope would require some extra training and attention. But she loves other dogs and other people (and their laps for sitting). And she is a beautiful little dog, mostly white with a couple patches of light brown. Katie says she is always upbeat, wagging her tail and excited when she senses the presence of humans and other dogs.
To help get the training off to a good start, the Humane Society of Western Montana does offer a complimentary lesson. Their certified on-staff trainer will give the new adopter some scent training tips and advice on using certain textures around the house to create a familiar environment to help give Hope more confidence.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays - Sundays from 1:00 till 6:00 p.m. They are located at 5930 US Highway 93 South, Missoula. You can meet more of the wonderful animals and learn more about the adoption process by visiting their website.
We are teaming up with the Humane Society of Western Montana to help animals like Hope get placed in forever homes. Take Me Home Tuesdays is presented by Flanagan Motors Mazda, Paul's Pancake Parlor and TrailWest Bank.
