Anytime your studio is visited by a puppy, that makes for a pretty darn good day!

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at our radio stations, sponsored locally by the animal-loving folks at Paul's Pancake Parlor, Tremper's Shopping Center here in Missoula. Allison from the Humane Society of Western Montana brought in the delightful Schooner.

Schooner is a very sweet 4-month-old boy. He is a small to medium-sized mixed breed, rocking some white, tan and black. He's sporting those big, perky ears, and is a bit on the skinny, gangly side, but he is sure to fill out. Schooner is the last of a litter of pups brought to the shelter, as all his brothers and sisters have been adopted.

The Humane Society OF Western Montana has a number of events coming up in the very near future:

Friday, July 28: Vaccination clinic in Seeley Lake. Walk-ups - no appointment needed.

Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30: Spay/Neuter Clinics (which includes vaccinations and microchips) at the shelter in Missoula. Appointments need to be made in advance.

Monday, July 31: Community Night at Thomas Meagher Bar, 130 West Pine, downtown Missoula, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. 20% of all proceeds go to the Humane Society.

Saturday, August 5: Annual Dairy Queen Adoption Event. Things get underway at 11:00 a.m. at the Higgins and Strand DQ, and is basically first-come first- served with kittens, puppies and some adult dogs are expected to be there as well.

The HSWM is open Wednesdays-Sundays 1–6pm. If you would like more information about any or all of these events, or to schedule your vaccination time in Missoula, you can contact the Humane Society of Western Montana at 406-549-3934. Or visit their website, Facebook page or Instagram for further details.
