Stevensville Set To Open New Bank In Town
In a press release sent to media outlets over the weekend (December 13), Stockman Bank announced they are opening a new bank branch in Stevensville. Mindy Glenna with Stockman Bank emailed us stating the new bank will open "in the next few months" at 318 Main Street in Stevensville.
We look forward to opening a bank in Stevensille and serving more of our neighbors throughout this beautiful region of our state - Stockman Bank Missoula Market President [and notable Griz fan] Bob Burns
The current location is occupied by First Security Bank in Stevensville. The building is next to CJ's Den Bar and Grill and across the street from Stevensville Hardware right on the corner of Main and W 4th Street.
Stockman Bank is naming it their Bitterroot Valley location and naming Simon McCann the Bitterroot Market President. "Simon and his team will do a great job of expanding Stockman's unique brand of Montana community banking and a high level of customer service to the Bitterroot Valley."
McCann is a graduate of MSU Bozeman and has recently served on the University of Montana Rodeo Board of Directors and Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce Treasurer.
There wasn't an exact date for the new location's opening. The press release only generalized saying it will be open in the "next few months."
This is the 42nd Stockman's location in Montana.
