What's your overall assessment of the Missoula food scene? Do we have enough options? Do we have enough cuisine variety?

For the most part, I like Missoula's food scene. It's not going to go toe-to-toe with New York City or San Francisco, but we hold our own for being a small mountain city.

"I’ve been saving up to start selling to-go plates out of a commercial kitchen before expanding to a brick and mortar, what do you guys think is missing?" - u/Any-Television1241

We would love it if you opened up a new restaurant. Some of the ideas they discussed included Hawaiian food, Vietnamese noodle bowls, Southern soul food, BBQ and Tamales.

I asked a couple of my coworkers, and they responded with Korean BBQ and fast-food seafood.

Frankly, I won't be picky about any new restaurants. I would take all the above, and then some. Give me dim sum, more pho, more Chinese, more Vietnamese, more breakfast spots, Guatemalan, Hawaiian, or anything else in between. My biggest gripe is the aforementioned late-night food options, minus a couple of restaurants.
