We are so confident you will love these events that if you're not satisfied, we will refund your admission fee. Wait. What?

With the promise of a glorious early fall weekend, you're eager to get out in the sun and cheer on your Montana Grizzlies, right? Well, the football team is out of town and will probably be playing into Sunday morning with their scheduled start time at Eastern Washington. So, here's an affordable - and we do mean affordable - option for you and your family.

The Montana Grizzly softball team opened its fall exhibition schedule with a pair of wins over North Idaho at Grizzly Softball Field in Missoula last Sunday. Easy victories of 20-0 and 10-1. That's what fall is all about for a Division 1 softball program, a time to figure out who you are as a team and what you represent. While you may schedule games with smaller colleges from lower divisions, it's still a chance to get a better feel for the talent level you may have on your roster when spring of 2022 rolls around.

With that in mind, the Grizzlies have scheduled three more exhibition games this Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3. Montana will host MSU Billings in a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Yellowjackets will stay in Missoula for a single game on Sunday, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

And yes, fans, the games are free to the public!

Grizzly Softball Field is part of the University of Montana South Campus Stadium complex, located just off the intersection of South Avenue and Higgins Avenue. We hope you can get out on a lovely Saturday and/or Sunday and cheer on the Griz!

What It's Like To Journey Through Missoula During A Griz Game

it's pretty wild to see Missoula just feel completely empty for a couple of hours.
