My coworker K.C. wrote about how elk hunting in Montana has become too mainstream.

"My issue isn't with celebrities hunting. Any more appreciation of hunting, wildlife, and conservation is definitely welcome. My issue is that social media tends to portray elk hunting as much easier than it really is. They do this by portraying elk hunting as simply putting on high-priced camouflage clothing and going on a short walk. After hearing an elk bugling, 20 minutes later you are able to kneel behind a bull elk that looks great on the cover of Bugle magazine." - K.C. via The Blaze

K.C. wrote about how celebrities like Jelly Roll and Luke Combs have been showing the easy side of elk hunting and how Joe Rogan discusses the subject on his podcast.

Ironically, Rogan recently bagged an elk and featured a Montana Knife Company knife.

"We are stoked that our @montanaknifecompany Supercub got bloody on the hunt! It’s always an honor to see where our knives end up." - MKC Instagram

Regardless, it's pretty cool to see MKC get featured on a page with as many followers as Joe Rogan.

That being said, many commenters ripped Rogan for getting elk tags, claiming he purchased the elk rather than earning it.

You know... some classic online discourse.

Anyway, good for MKC for getting their knife out there.
