Check Out 60 Years of Dazzling Alumni Art For UM Homecoming
A first-of-its-kind exhibition by University of Montana alumni will celebrate the school's rich artistic legacy.
A 60-YEAR SHOWCASE
UM News Service tells us that the College of the Arts and Media and School of Art and Game Design will be presenting "A Homecoming: UM Art Alumni Invitational Exhibition." The exhibit puts the artistic voices, perspectives and media of the school’s graduates front and center as thousands of Grizzlies return to campus for Homecoming festivities.
The gallery will feature the work of 100 invited alumni spanning six decades of UM graduating classes, including the work of Monte Dolack (UM Class of '74). His depictions of Montana’s extraordinary natural beauty have garnered worldwide attention.

SOME OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE
Shelby Baldridge, instructor and gallery director in the School of Art and Game Design, was quoted in the release as saying, “This exhibition has something for everyone – an abundance of artwork filling every wall, striking sculptures that invite and challenge viewers, film and animation pieces.
“It is a wonderful opportunity for our alumni to reconnect and for our community to experience the exceptional works our alumni have created.”

This inaugural Art Alumni Invitational Exhibition features only a glimpse of the countless artists and artworks to emerge from the University. The School of Art and Game Design welcomes the public to engage with this exceptional collection of works.
