
Here’s How You Can Ski For Free This Winter Near Montana
The weather has not cooperated this winter for skiers in Montana. I swear, it's been raining every other day, yet we can't find any consistent snow. Even as a non-skier, it stinks.

I'm sure resorts are making their own fake snow, but y'all are still crossing your fingers that we get legitimate snow. Hopefully, you have been able to get out and ski this winter regardless. Hopefully, you own a Toyota, because that means you could ski for FREE this winter.
Toyota's Free Ski Fridays Are Back
Toyota has run its "Free Ski Fridays" for at least a couple of seasons now, and it's back for 2026.
Bring your Toyota vehicle to any one of our partner Toyota Free Ski Fridays mountains this winter and enjoy a complimentary ski lift ticket on us! - Toyota

Drive your Toyota to one of the participating mountains, show them your valid ID, and you're good to go. You need to drive your Toyota. You can't simply show the keys of a Toyota or the registration. You actually need the vehicle present.
Scions and Lexuses also qualify for free Ski Friday.

- Pebble Creek (Inkom, ID) on January 16
- Schweitzer (Sandpoint, ID) on January 23
- Grand Targhee Resort (Alta, WY) on January 30
- Bluewood Ski Resort (Dayton, WA) on February 6
- 49° North Mountain Resort (Chewelah, WA) on March 6
- Silver Mountain (Kellogg, ID) on March 13
- Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA) on March 20
- Lookout Pass (Mullan, ID) on March 27

None of the locations are in Montana, but several are an easy day's drive out of Western Montana.
