Thankful for All the Birthday Wishes, a Reminder to Be Grateful

Maybe I am a bit emotional because I am getting older and time is passing but I had a revelation today. So many times I am ungrateful and it's amazing what we have to be thankful for.

As I went about my Birthday, waking up on the wrong side of the bed ( and late) I started wondering what am I doing with my life, and missing my grandmother. It just wasn't the way I should have started the day, I'm in control and I decide... so why not decide to start everyday out right.

I got some Birthday wishes and notes it just made me realize we are all in this together and we can make each-other feel special just by typing in a few words on Facebook, an email or card. By calling or texting someone, or by bringing them a token of their friendship.
