Fly fishing is a great therapy and after a rough day yesterday I decided to embark on a fly fishing excursion with my buddy John.

It was a semi stormy weekend in some parts of the state. That didn't stop me from trying to go out and wet a line. This time headed to the Blackfoot River.

Well another first in the books for me this weekend. Thanks to Shari and Sheila for having me out to Canyon Ferry for some bow-fishing.

I have heard this fish called a few things. Take a peek and see if you know what kind of fish it is.

Another first checked off my fly fishing list. The west fork of the Bitterroot was unbelievable and I am so happy I was able to float it for my first time this weekend.

The dry flying has been fun and fishing has been a lot better in my opnion. Water is still high but there is some good fishing to be had

I feel so blessed, being able to go out and fish in this great state. This time I was able to take one of my good girlfriends I've known for over ten years floating and fishing for our first time together. We did the Clark Fork float from Sha-ron to Turah and it was awesome...

With fly fishing in full swing, here is my special pattern I have been tying up from a San Juan Worm pattern.

I finally got my new rod! I went with an 8 weight TFO rod that I would like to use for streamers fishing.

Wow what a fun night, it was our last fly tying night and it was a blast.
