It was one great weekend. The weather did not cooperate but the fishing was good and the company was even better.

I have been tying flies for over 3 months now and I have yet to catch a fish on a fly I tied until this weekend.

This last week at fly tying we learned how to make a dubbing brush which looks like a dread. Being Missoula we found this very hip.

I have been fly fishing for 4 years and have done it quite a bit in that time. I have never caught a sucker fish.

I know I talk a lot about tying flies, but it really has bonded my friends together and new friends have been made.

Well this one was for the books. I have been fly fishing for about 4 years with a good handful plus of trips taken to the Missouri River to fly fish and never have I been skunked...til now.

We have been having a blast! Community free fly tying nights at Great Burn Brewing is going great and we would love to have you at our next event.

It seems as if every holiday I get to enjoy the river, and do some fly fishing or at least try to.
