Sage Street Standoff Ends in Arrest
UPDATE: 8:00 P.M.
The Missoula County Sheriff's Office reported that the suspect who had barricaded himself inside his residence on Sage Street surrendered to deputies peacefully and without incident just before 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Reportedly, one person was seriously injured which led to the standoff, but their condition is unknown.

Just before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 4700 block of Sage Street in Missoula.
Reports indicate the incident involved an assault in which on person sustained a serious, but non life-threatening injury.
At this moment, Sheriff's deputies are negotiating with a male suspect who, according to Public Information Officer Jeannette Smith, has barricaded himself inside the home.
Authorities are requesting that residents avoid the 4700 block of Sage Street as the incident is ongoing.
Smith said that more information will be provided as it becomes available.
