The University of Montana Lady basketball team has a hard time making things look easy down the stretch this season. In the opening round of the women's Big Sky Conference basketball tourney in Grand Forks ND, Montana torched in-state rival Montana State in the first half, heading to the locker room leading the Bobcats 36-14 at halftime. But as has been the case several times this season, the Lady Griz squandered most of that lead in the second half, surrendering 52 second half points to the 'Cats, but maintained their poise and kept MSU at arm's length, moving on with a 75-66, their third victory over the Bobcats this season. Junior Kellie Cole (pictured) led the Lady Griz attack with 20 points and 8 rebounds. It's onto Round 2 vs. Southern Utah, winners over Sacramento State earlier in the day. Remember, Lady Griz Basketball is on AM 930, KMPT! DB
