Tuesday’s Lady Griz Game Postponed, New Date Announced

We're still working our way through the craziness that comes with trying to hold sporting events (or any events) while tapdancing around a pandemic. Leagues across the country have crossed their fingers with hopes that any schedule interruptions would be minor. Pick a sport, and thankfully it seems only a small percentage of games have had to be rescheduled or canceled. But if you haven't heard, Lady Griz basketball is having to reschedule Tuesday night's game against Idaho.

Wait, this seems familiar

If it seems like you might have heard this somewhere before you would be correct. The Lady Griz were supposed to play against Idaho last week but the game was rescheduled because of COVID concerns with the Idaho program. That initial game was rescheduled for tomorrow (2/1) but it's now being postponed for a second time. The reason this time is due COVID-19 protocols in the Lady Griz program.

Is the third time a charm?

So when will we see the Lady Griz and Idaho finally take the court? The game has now been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 21 at 3 PM. We'll keep our fingers crossed that both programs will have no issues and be able to play three weeks from now.

What's Next?
