With Montana's and everyone else's ski seasons in full swing, one of those "Thank God" stories to start the new year. Associated Press tells us that an 8-year-old skier is fine after being rescued from a chairlift in Sun Valley, Idaho. The boy slipped out of his coat and off the chair at Sun Valley's Bald Mountain, which left him dangling above the ground. Ski Patrol quickly got a pad under him to break his fall and he landed safely. The kid ended up okay, no injuries and resumed his ski day.   Good job, patrol!  DB
