UM Campus Cookie Cook-off Benefits Local Charities

Good luck to all the participants doing something so worthwhile for humanity: baking Christmas cookies! Yum!

And while we won't get to partake in the goodies, we hope the 22nd annual University of Montana Campus Dining Cookie Cook-off raises lot of dough. The event is this Monday, December 16, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., in the Lommason Center Food Zoo dining room.

This year features a Grinch-themed baking and decorating party. Contestants hope to bake over 300 dozen cookies during the competition, all in the name of giving. Each year, students, faculty, staff and families attend the event, donating a huge portion of the cookies to 16 local charities. More than 30 departments on campus participate in the festivities.
