U-M Food Zoo Rocks !

The Food Zoo, one of the main student dining rooms on the U-M campus, plays host to a student karaoke contest near the end of the Spring semester. Solid Sound brought in their sound system, set up a stage and lights and for an hour and a half some talented students vied for prizes doing songs from the “Hair Bands of the ‘80’s”. This year Scooterville supplied scooters for the winning female and male performers.  Second, third and fourth place winners received ipads from Coca-Cola. The highlight was the performance by Griz Team; four football players who rocked the house, literally, they were big and very entertaining. There was a special guest appearance by Muttley Crew, four of the chefs on the made to order omelet line at the Food Zoo. Thanks to everyone involved, I had a blast. The omelet was great too.
