As of Tuesday morning, more than 535,000 Montanans had already voted, surpassing the previous general-election record of 2016 by about 18,000 votes.

An 18 year-old Missoula woman drowned on Sunday in a scuba diving accident at Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. Her name has not yet been released.

They're making it even easier for you to get to the polls.

The Missoula County Elections Office just announced that this Friday will be the first day of in person voting for this year’s General Election.

Today is Election Day in Montana. Elections Administrator Bradley Seaman says all ballots must be dropped off no later than 8:00 p.m. to be counted.

Election Day 2018, and polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

After a vote by the Missoula County Commissioners this week there will be even more changes than many expected when it comes to local polling places in Missoula.

According to Missoula’s Elections Coordinator, only about 19,000 absentee ballots had been returned as of Saturday, out of over 48,000 that were mailed out.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Today is election day, and most polls in Montana will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., although nearly 250,000 have already voted absentee.
