Spend the 4th of July on Placid Lake

Yesterday for the 4th of July, I spent time with friends on Placid Lake. What a beautiful day it was, and probably the best scenery I've ever had for the holiday. We spent most of the day just relaxing and telling stories while enjoying some beverages. Unfortunately everyone in our group had to work today (7/5) so we couldn't stay up there for the fireworks show but that didn't take away from the fun we had celebrating.

It was a really fun day, and I really enjoyed the fact that Placid Lake wasn't too busy. A few families were around us, but it wasn't bad at all. It makes me think about going back up next year on the 4th!
