Sizzling Spring Semester at Bitterroot College UM in Hamilton
Though we're in the midst of winter weather, it's time to start thinking about the spring semester at Bitterroot College UM in Hamilton. The first classes in that semester actually start January 18.
There are three main areas for students at the classrooms at the corner of 9th and Main, across from the Hamilton City Justice Center. There are over 25 for-credit college courses. And, over 150 students are already enrolled.
The Workforce training this spring includes:
Commercial Driver's License, Dental Assisting, Bookkeeping, Veterinary Assisting, Medication Aide, Phlebotomy, Low and High Pressure Boiler Operator, Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) and Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
Adult Education:
Over 70 Continuing Education classes cover a wide variety of subjects - Sign Language, Bitterroot Geology, Welding, Horse and Mule Packing, Orienteering, Exploring Astronomy, Computer Confidence, Square Dancing, Dog First Aid, Pickleball, Scandinavian Knife Making.
Then, there's the Bitterroot Business Series, presented in partnership with the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority. Those include Introduction to Small Business Planning, Financial Management Basics, Business Law Basics, Hiring and Employees, Modern Day Marketing, Google My Business, Web Design Skills, Understanding the Cottage Food Law, Quickbook Basics (including payroll and inventory classes), Excel Basics and Quality in the Workplace 101.

That gives you more information about each class. Of course, you simply drop by the campus in Hamilton and get your questions answered.
In February, the college will have three Montana-based lectures. Bitterroot Bears on February 10, Hot Springs at February 17 and Montana Before History on February 24. Bitterroot College UM is busy place!
