All right, the sports world is wrapping their heads around the fact that it will be the Denver Broncos squaring off against the Carolina Panthers at Super Bowl 50 in two weeks.

We have been having fun with some weird but true facts on Super Bowl 50. If you are considering not watching the Super Bowl consider these facts.

  1. This could be Peyton Manning’s last game. If the Broncos win, it will be an exclamation mark at the end of his amazing 18-year-career.
  2. You’ve got the old against the new. They will have the largest age gap between any two quarterbacks in NFL history at 13 years, 48 days. Manning will also become the oldest quarterback to start the game.
  3. The two teams were both the number one seeds in the playoffs. So, you’re getting, arguably, the best NFC team and the best AFC team on the field at the same time.
  4. It’s the 50th Super Bowl. That’s a big anniversary, which means it's going to be a big party.

According to For The Win

"Super Bowl media day is the worst, most overrated day in sports, but it’s even worse depending on the participants. Of the four title-game contenders, here’s how they’d have ranked in terms of media day interest"

No. 947 — New England
No. 31 — Denver
No. 26 — Arizona
No. 1 — Carolina

Carolina is the heavy favorite to win.
