Pop in to Adopt Mountain Dew at Humane Society of Western Montana

MEET MOUNTAIN DEW

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana. Katie introduced us to "Mountain Dew," a super-cute 10-week-old pup, one of 5 siblings who came to the Missoula shelter from one of their clinics in Heart Butte. It looks like Mountain Dew might be on the bigger side when she is fully grown.

Pay Mountain Dew and her siblings a visit soon, but be ready to fall in love.

FREE VACCINE CLINIC AND MICROCHIP EVENT THIS THURSDAY

Exciting news, especially since it has been a little while since they've been able to hold one of these. The Humane Society of Western Montana will be offering another free off-site vaccine and microchip day this Thursday, July 2. This clinic will be held at Silver Park, part of Missoula's McCormick Park and Missoula Paddleheads baseball stadium complex.

From 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, the shelter will be providing free rabies vaccines, annual vaccines and microchips. They are administered to your pets on a first-come, first-served basis, and the events are typically very well received, so your patience is appreciated.

NO BETTER TIME

Unfortunately, 4th of July week is the time of year where the shelter sees the highest number of strays, making that microchip even more important.
