Make a Dash to Adopt ‘Ash’ at Humane Society of Western Montana
If a big, friendly, lovable mature dog would be a perfect fit for your home, it's time to check out this awesome fella.
MEET "ASH"
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, presented by Paul's Pancake Parlor of Missoula. Katie introduced us to Ash. And while we don't know what all went into the mix, you get the sense that St. Bernard might figure in somewhere. Katie also said the team adores his big, beautiful block head.
Ash came to the shelter in late April, transferred over from one of the Humane Society's partner organizations, where he was brought in as a stray. So while not too much is know about Ash, he is around 8 years old and loves to just be mellow outside. So, enough room indoors and out might be a terrific combo for this adorable big guy.

A HUGE "MISSOULA GIVES" THANK YOU FROM THE SHELTER
The annual Missoula Gives campaign was held last week. Generous donors pick the local non-profit organizations of their choice to which they make donations. It's always great to see the way the community showS up for so many non-profits, and the Humane Society of Western Montana set a fundraising goal of $30,000 to help support their community resources like no-cost vaccine clinics, low-cost spaying and neutering and pet food relief. And Katie wanted to make sure she thanked the Missoula Gives donations earmarked for the shelter, as they surpassed their goal!
The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00 pm till 6:00 pm at 5920 Highway 93 South, Missoula. You can see all the wonderful dogs and cats waiting for their forever homes here.
