You Won’t Be Blue If You Adopt Blue From The Humane Society
Imagine finding a dog that is mature enough to have the puppy stage behind him but young enough to shower with years of love!
MEET BLUE
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, brought to you by our Friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Katie introduced us to Blue, who is relatively new to the shelter this time around (don't let that startle you). Blue was originally adopted as a puppy, but the owners found him to be a little too energetic for their situation, but while still excitable, he has mellowed as a now 2-year-old.
In other words, Blue could use an active family. But Katie says he's got a great foundation that his previous family built for him.
Blue has grown into a super soft small-to-medium-sized dog. He's been great at the shelter, making friends with other dogs. He has lived with kids and has a good jump on crate training.
Blue still has a lot of nervous energy, but with some patience, he has the potential to be a wonderful addition to a new forever home.

DOGS MORE PLENTIFUL AGAIN
For a period of time, the Humane Society did not have many dogs available for adoption. Well, that has changed again. In addition to Blue, Katie tells us a recent batch of dogs has arrived from the community and from Missoula Animal Services and transfers from their friends at Wolf Point Pound Puppies.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is located at 5930 Highway 93 South in Missoula. They are open Wednesdays-Sundays, 1:00 - 6:00 pm.
