New Missoula Public Library Sets Date For Grand Opening
It's been in the works for nearly four years, and it's finally about to pay off - the new, energy-efficient library that they're building across the street from the current Missoula Public Library has set its grand opening date. And you'll be able to attend that ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 AM on July 15th.
This means that the project has been running on-time and on-budget, as we originally reported that they were targeting a mid-July opening a few months back.
The new library will be four floors and will include a market space, a children's museum/discovery area, fiction/nonfiction works, and a common area and event space that can hold 250 people. We didn't even mention the outside viewing deck, which will be a big draw in the summertime, for sure.
Are you excited for the new Missoula Public Library?
