I have to give a little shout out to my home town, right now. It seems that a handful of track students from Frenchtown High School saved a man’s life this past weekend after a track meet. The man was having a seizure in his car in a grocery store parking lot and the teens acted quickly to get him out of the car and EMS on their way.

Thanks to quick thinking of these teens, a family gets more time with their father, brother, husband or son. There is no greater gift anyone can get than more time with a loved one.

It looks as though teenagers aren’t all about partying, sports and homework. They are also working on becoming adults one day. It appears that these teens are doing a good job of it too.

I know there are teens like this in Missoula and all the surrounding areas. There is just something about Montana teens that make them better than the teens you’ll find anywhere else. Of course, I could be a bit biased though. I was a Montana teen some time ago and I will be the mother of a Montana teen in a few short months.

It’s true what they say. Everything is better in Montana. The fishing, the air, the hunting and the people – even the teenagers.
