Montana Style Traffic Jam

It only takes a short visit to a large metro area and some time in heavy traffic to appreciate our traffic in Missoula. At times (around 8AM and 5PM) and at certain locations ( N. Reserve) things can seem a little slow but nothing compared to say Seattle or LA.

A recent study said traffic jams cost us lots of wasted time and money. In 2011 we Americans wasted $818 per person sitting in traffic and spent 5.5 billion hours in our vehicles because of traffic congestion. If I’m going to be stuck in traffic watching a buffalo amble across the road is not that bad a view.
