A big KYSS FM howdy to everyone from Billings, Butte, Dillon, Hamilton, Hardin, Havre, Laurel and Polson! We wish your teams the best of luck this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 3-5.

For the second year in a row, Missoula and the University of Montana are hosting a state high school basketball tournament.

Tickets are now on sale for the State Class A Boys’ Basketball Tournament. Competition tips off Thursday, March 3, at the Adams Center on the University of Montana campus and runs through Saturday, March 5.

The top eight teams from Class A will participate in this tournament. This is the first state boys’ tournament held in Missoula since 2004. First round action Thursday features Hamilton vs. Havre, Polson vs. Billigns Central, Hardin vs. Butte Central and Dillon vs. Laurel. A complete schedule of games is available online at griztix.com.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Adams Center Box Office and all GrizTix locations. Tickets also may be purchased online or by calling 1-888-666-8262 during regular business hours. Prices are incredibly reasonable. All-session adult passes cost $28 for reserved and $17 for students. Single-session passes cost $8 for adult reserved, $7 for adult general admission, and $6 student general admission.

University parking lots P, Z, M and M1 will be reserved for Class A attendees and participants during session hours.

There's nothing quite like the atmosphere of a Montana high school basketball state tourney! The Girls' State C was awesome last year and this one promises to be bigger and better. PLUS all the out-of-town fans can take in Montana men's basketball between sessions, as the Griz host North Dakota Thursday at 8:00 and Northern Colorado Saturday at 2:00.  We'd love to see thousands of you there!  DB
