The Associated Press' Dennis Waszak Jr. published an article yesterday about Bozeman native and former Montana State Bobcat Lance McCutcheon's focus on mental health. The story centers on McCutcheon's childhood in Bozeman and losing two friends at a young age. His best friend, Connor Mills, committed suicide at 12 years old and just nine months after his good friend Grady Dawkins died in a car accident. McCutcheon talks about how it impacted his mental health moving forward.

McCutcheon grew up in Bozeman and attended Bozeman High and Montana State University. The NFL wideout keeps in touch with his Bozeman roots. In June, McCutcheon teamed up with his former teammates to host their football camp for youngsters in the area.
