If you've been fighting with your partner a lot, it's not just you. It seems couples fight more in January than any other month. You can blame it on cold weather and the winter blues.

According to Behavioral Psychologist Donna Dawson, "Cabin Fever is a real phenomenon that takes place during the dark winter months, particularly January. The lack of sunlight can make us feel lethargic and depressed, and the lack of exercise and the fact that we are cooped up in a stuffy, centrally-heated house can make us feel edgy, irritable and stressed."

Dawson says if you add boredom, post Holiday financial issues and too much down time with each other, and you "have the perfect recipe for arguments and consequent break-ups."
