Is Western Montana Ready for a Bucking Good Time?
We're not sure if you will be required to learn all the dance moves to "Fancy Like," but we are betting against it.
But you are more than welcome to kick up your heels anyway you choose, and help support the University of Montana Rodeo Team at their annual Cowboy Ball. The Montana Rodeo team's premier fundraising event and largest western event in Montana is happening Saturday, October 09, 2021. Yep, it's back this year and they can't wait to cut loose and have lots of fun.
Doors open at 5:30. Come see the transformation of the Lolo Peak Arena into a western palace. Be sure to bring a hearty appetite for gourmet fare featuring thick cuts of prime rib.
No need to polish your boots, it’s a dirt floor and anything goes. Play the "heads and tails" game with University of Montana President Seth Bodnar and work off that big dinner with dancing to a local favorite, ShoDown.
Meet the UM Rodeo Team and experience the best auction in Western Montana. There is something for everyone and it supports these college cowboys and cowgirls! Here's a few examples of the incredible donated items up for grabs:
---The Best of the Best. Tickets for four to the National Finals Rodeo.
---Four Tickets to the Denver Broncos/Kansas City Chiefs football game January 9, 2022.
---Brawl of the Wild! Two tickets to the Grizzly/Bobcat football game November 20, with a private tailgate parking spot. They'll even throw in a Griz cornhole game to liven up your tailgate party.
---Experience Montana on a horse! A trail ride for two and lunch at Paws Up Ranch and Resort in Greenough MT.
Sound fun? Well, they usually pack the place so get those tickets early. Cowboy Ball Tickets are $125 each. Reserve yours by calling 406-728-5188 or by visiting the UM Rodeo Team website.
