Is an Alligator a Deadly Weapon?

Authorities say yes. I'm sure the frightened employees at the fast food drive-thru would probably agree. In the most bizarre weekend story we could find, the deadly weapon was nearly four feet long with strong jaws and lots of teeth.

Associated Press tells us that a West Palm Beach, Florida, man was arrested for throwing a young alligator through a fast food restaurant drive-thru window, and is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

This happened at a Wendy's as an employee was handing the guy his drink. That's when the gator went flying through the window as the dude drove off. Luckily no one was injured.

Surveillance tracked him down and he was also charged with illegally possessing an alligator and petty theft.  I guess it was his way of filling out a comment card on what new items Wendy's should have on their menu.   DB
