I Feel Too Old For New Year’s Eve!

I cannot be the only person that feels this way, but I have very little desire to go out on New Years Eve. I will admit in my 20's I loved to go out and drink while ringing in the new year, that time has past.

While I still enjoy going out on random Friday and Saturday nights something about New Years makes me want to stay home. I don't know whether it is the fact that most bars are packed and it takes so long to get drinks. Or the fact that everyone is so hammered you are most likely going to spill a drink or have one spilled on you.

To me it just seems like New Year's Eve is a young or single persons night of fun. I'm an old 30 year old married with dogs, bring on the ice cream, and early bedtime. :)
