Trout Creek Huckleberry Festival – Our Kind Of Jam
Some of us remember life before 1980; life was very different back then. Some of us drove cars without catalytic converters, we were still getting used to watching a brand new cable channel called ESPN, and single men had the nerve to go out in public dressed like this...and they got away with it.
46 years later, some things are still as wonderful as they were back then. Take the Huckleberry Festival in Trout Creek, which since 1976, continues to serve up contests, entertainment, and huckleberries. LOTS OF THEM.
A lovely reminder that huckleberries are totally dope
When To Come
The 46th Annual Huckleberry Festival will be in a familiar place: in between Childs and Tuscor just south of the Noxon Reservoir on the Clark Fork River. Take State Highway 200 north from Thompson Falls to get there.
The two day festival will happen on August 13th and 14th. It is a free event with free admission, free parking and free entertainment. If you'd like to participate in any events, the proceeds go directly to next year's festival.
