At Saturday night's Montana Grizzlies Football game against UC Davis, which we don't need to discuss any further than that, Griz Vision rolled a new ad teasing a brand new music festival coming to town next year.
Zootown Festival was introduced to Griz fans during a timeout Saturday night. The video package revealed the shows will be held on July 4th and 5th, 2025 at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. It's hosted by our friends at Knitting Factory and Shore Sound. The acts haven't been revealed yet, but dangit I did some digging.
I asked people in the marketing department at the University if they knew who would be performing at Zootown Festival. They told me that Zootown has kept the shows close to their chest and hasn't revealed a single act. As of now, I can't even flirt with the idea of who will be performing at the Fairgrounds. The only hint I have is the music played in the Zootown Festival spot...
The background music is Float On by Modest Mouse. If I had to guess, Modest Mouse might be in attendance. If it's not Modest Mouse then it's probably an Indie Rock or Alternative Rock festival.

Until the next Griz home game, VS Portland State on Saturday, November 16, we won't know and can only speculate. Zootown Festival announced on its Instagram page that "The Griz get the first look! Make sure you're at next weeks game for a special reveal."
