Whatever animals you prefer to hunt each year in Montana, you have a chance to comment on the rules, season dates and more.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is gathering input with an online survey through 5:00 p.m. September 16. The survey asks for your comments for many game animals, their season opening and closing dates, game damage hunts, etc.

It is referred to as the "2020-21 Biennial Setting Process." It's not a multiple-choice, check "Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor" kind of thing. There are boxes for you to enter any thoughts you may have. Sure, the natural inclination is to feel like your opinions don't add up to a hill of beans. But just maybe you have some ideas you believe in on what could make Montana hunting better. You just might have to put a little effort into expressing your thoughts.

If you want to give it a shot, you can go the FWP survey page here. And good luck, whatever your hunting seasons may be.
