Two Bitterroot Valley teams are in the Montana high school football playoffs this next weekend. Hamilton's Broncs had a bye in the first weekend of Class A contests and will play against Billings Central Saturday afternoon, November 9, in Hamilton. Florence-Carlton, meanwhile, defeated Shepherd in Class B action last weekend and will travel to Fairfield for their next playoff game.

Last weekend, in Class A, Frenchtown defeated Whitefish 34 to 7, Billings Central beat Glendive 45 to 13, Havre slipped by Lewistown 14 to 13 and Libby handled Butte Central 49 to 28. Hamilton, Dillon, Miles City and Laurel had byes. So, the battles this weekend in Class A are: Hamilton vs Billings Central (who met each other in the championship game last year), Miles City (Custer County) hosts Frenchtown, Havre is at Dillon and Libby visits Laurel. Now, in Class B:

Florence at Fairfield/Augusta, Missoula Loyola at Manhattan, Columbus at Eureka and Malta at Red Lodge. In AA, Billings West meets Helena Capital, Butte versus Kalispell (Glacier), Missoula Sentinal against Billings Senior and Bozeman versus Helena.

The Hamilton playoff tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 5, at Hamilton High School with adults $7 and students $6.
