Floating the Blackfoot for My First Time

I was able to float the Blackfoot River for my first time and it was awesome! I had so much fun. Thanks to Allen Kallis for taking me out. Allen not only works at the airport but he also guides in his spare time.

I have wade fished before for my first time on the Blackfoot just recently. The best part was learning how to cast better. I have been getting some tips from friends and it didn't stop this week. I learned how to stop my rod and let the line load, learned about some great hatches. Saw so many bugs and caught some fish on some dry flies!

We dry flied pretty much the whole day but I did throw a streamer and added a nymph dropper to one dry fly.
