E-cigs Could Contain Formaldehyde
If you made a New Year’s Resolution this year to quit smoking cigarettes and you’re using e-cigs to get you over the hump you might want to reconsider your decision. For sure, cigarettes are bad for you.
But a new study has found that e-cigarettes which have been pushed as a “safe” alternative to cigarette smoking may not be as safe as once believed. Researchers found “hidden” high levels of the known carcinogen formaldehyde in popular tank-system e-cigarettes.
Formaldehyde, of course is the chemical they use at funeral homes to embalm dead bodies.
