MEET FRODO

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, brought to you by our animal-loving friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Katie brought along an adorable Hobbit-like character named Frodo.

Frodo came to the shelter as a stray, so they are finding out more about him as they get acquainted. He is about a year-and-a-half old with a medium brown coat with some gold thrown in. Frodo is very playful and not fearful of strangers. He just wants to be everybody's pal.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE TAKEN IN AS A STRAY

Katie believes he ended up at the shelter from the Alberton area. The Humane Society holds all stray animals for a period of time and posts all information numerous social media platforms. They make sure to take an appropriate amount of time to see if there is a family out there looking for them.

If after that window closes, the shelter spays or neuters them if required and gets them microchipped. It's then that the animals are available to meet with new families.
