I read an interesting article on beer research today and I thought I’d pass along the information. A research team at Granada University in Spain has determined that beer is good for humans. Their study indicated that it is better than water to keep you hydrated and nourished. The bubbles are refreshing, and the carbohydrates are nourishing. A study group exercised vigorously in a 104 degree environment. They were then split into two groups, with one half given a pint of beer and the other half, a pint of water. They were then tested for hydration and nourishment, the beer group did better. Take it for what it’s worth, or use it as an excuse to run down to the pub.
