Halloween is such a fun holiday with so many fun traditions like trick-or-treating, but it can also get expensive.

A new survey by the National Retail Federation reveals that the average person will spend $75 on Halloween costumes, candy and decorations. Other findings in the study :

- 68 million people will dress up for Halloween

- 20 million people plan to dress their pet for Halloween

- 90% of Halloween shoppers will buy candy

- 45% of people decorate their yard for Halloween

- 41% of people carve pumpkins for Halloween

- 33% of people plan to throw or attend a Halloween party

I really enjoy the holiday but when you think about it, Halloween can be a burden with all the expenses. Luckily for me I have a wife who loves Halloween so much, I have no say in the matter, I will be dressing up and I will like it. :) I have lots of fun too, can't wait to celebrate! Here was my Gnome costume from last year.
