Budweiser’s Best Ads
You don’t have to wait for the Super Bowl to see the best Super Bowl commercial this year. It should be no surprised to learn that the winning ad, in my opinion, once again belongs to Budweiser. They just know how to make a great all American ad to go with one of America’s favorite pastimes.
5 Terrible and Possibly Cruel Valentine’s Day Gifts
I know it may seem a little early to be discussing Valentine’s Day but it’s coming, ready or not. I thought I would do a public service and help the gentlemen of Missoula out a little bit by letting them know what not to get their ladies. I figure if I can give you guys enough of a heads up, you will have enough time to find her something that she won’t be disappointed with.
Simple Baking Mix Recipe
Being a busy mom, I don’t always have time to make things from scratch. I absolutely love mixes, they make my life a lot easier. A couple things I buy in mixes are cakes, brownies, pancakes and biscuits. I’m not sure that my family would be able to eat without these.

“Hallelujah!” Weekends
Recently, a couple wrote their children a half-warning, half-informative note detailing the dangers of waking their parents up before 10 a.m. on the weekend. The only exception to this rule was if there was an actual emergency, not just whining or squabbling between siblings. I have to admit that my husband and I never considered doing what these crafty, possibly desperate parents did when our boy
Super Simple Broccoli Cheese Soup Recipe
Winter time is soup time in my house. You just can’t get by with serving soup for dinner when its 90 degrees outside. However, when the high for the week is in the 30s, not much tastes better for dinner than a nice steamy bowl of soup.
Feeling Blue? Then Take Advice From a Mouse
Do you ever feel like life has got you down? Does it seem like the only card you keep getting dealt is the joker? Has life given you so many lemons lately that you’re pretty sure you could make lemonade for an entire army?
Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Recipe
My boys (my husband included) absolutely love chocolate chip cookies. I don’t make them as often as they would like because they are a bit labor intensive. Making the dough isn’t difficult, but the fact that you have to babysit the stove and scoop blob after blob of dough onto a cookie sheet, bake it and then do it all over again, it gets a bit old. If I don’t have an hour or two of free time, the
Olympic Ad is a Tear Jerker
I’m not a huge fan of the Olympics. My least favorite of the two is the winter Olympics, mostly because I don’t enjoy winter and have never enjoyed winter sports, therefore I have a hard time really getting into the sports. I’m not sure how many different possible ski events there can be, but if there is or ever has been an event that involved skiing, it’s in the winter Olympics.
Old Spice Makes Moms Sad
Although I don’t look much like the moms in this commercial, I am scared that I’m going to turn into one of them soon. I have a 12-year old that is right on the verge of becoming a teenager and I’m absolutely terrified of what is to come. I think mainly because I know that means he is growing up and he won’t need me anymore.
Crockpot Baked Potato Soup Recipe
I have been in search of some great new crockpot recipes to add to my list of regulars. I’ve been getting a little tired of the same few recipes over and over. After scouring a few of my favorite sites, I’ve come across a few recipes that will make a nice change from the same old, same old.
Trunk Monkey Please? Yes, Thank you
Since we all live in Montana, most of us drive our own vehicles instead of using public transit. It could be because we live a good ways out of town, or because we don’t enjoy riding bikes in Montana’s long winter months. No matter what you drive, or the reason you drive it, vehicle ownership comes with getting yourself into some sticky situations.
