Annual Missoula Garden Party Becomes DIY Project Week
MUD is the Missoula Urban Demonstration Project and their annual Garden Party is typically their biggest event of the year with food, live music, and dancing. The Garden Party is basically their way of connecting with members and friends and showcasing what MUD has been up to, and just a great excuse to gather with other awesome Missoulians. This year would have marked their 30th celebration, but for the pandemic year, MUD has decided on a full week of fun projects in lieu of their garden party.
Enjoy a short film and discussion, learn how to build your own rain barrel at home and even get the supplies for it, check out MUD's aquaponic system, learn about soil health, and learn how to make your own native bee house or terrarium. Lots of fun stuff, get the full calendar of events here.
MUD provides tools and skills for sustainable living. Stop in on Mondays & Fridays, 4 - 7 p.m. and Saturdays & Sundays, 10 - 4 p.m. at 1527 Wyoming Street, between Home Resource and Westside Lanes.
