3 Hour Drive to Winter Fly Fish in Montana

A 3 hour drive for just over 2 1/2 hours of fly fishing, Montana fly fishing in the winter.

Sounds about right when it comes to Montana period. We are lucky to have so much fly fishing in this state. We traveled east on this trek. I have gone here before recently winter fly fishing. We checked out Warm Springs and fished in that area. Yes I have tried this before in the winter and it is known for producing some good fish this time of year. No luck last time and this time I had actually hooked a couple but didn't get them to the net. I was trying out my new rod so I was loose lining it a bit getting the feel.
