Just before midnight on Wednesday, a Missoula Police officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle he knew to be associated with 37-year-old Kathryn Reddick. The vehicle was parked at the Magic Diamond Casino on North Reserve Street. The officer was aware that Reddick had a history of illicit drug use and was on felony probation. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“The officer had prior knowledge and later confirmed that Ms. Reddick was on probation,” Welsh said. “One of her probation stipulations was to not be in locations where alcohol was served or consumed. The officer made contact with Ms. Reddick and subsequently arrested her for possession of methamphetamine, which she was found to be in possession of at the time of the arrest.”

The officer asked Reddick if she was supposed to be inside of a casino while she was on probation, and Reddick acknowledged that she was not supposed to be there.

Probation & Parole requested that the officer conduct a probation search of Reddick’s purse. During the search, the officer removed a black glasses case from the purse and opened the case to reveal a glass pipe and a bag of meth.

Reddick was charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

In 2019, Reddick was charged with endangering the welfare of children after having meth in the presence of her minor son.
