Most of us 30 somethings grew up with the soothing, mild-mannered, sweater-loving man named Mr. Rogers. Every kid dreamed of being his neighbor. He loved helping children learn while having fun in a calm and relaxed environment.

Many of us have missed this happy memory from our childhood. The good news is that we may get a little blast from the past, so to speak.

Rumors are swirling that a biopic about our beloved Mr. Rogers may be in the works. Wouldn’t you know that the working title for this little diddy is “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.”

Who do you think is neighborly enough to play Mr. Rogers? The names that have been thrown into the hat range from Matthew Broderick to Jim Carrey, and from Paul Rudd to Neil Patrick Harris. It’s hard to think that any one of these actors could embody the man that was Mr. Rogers. None of them seem to be a perfect fit for the role.

Is there anyone who could possibly fill the sweater of Mr. Rogers?
