If you were watching The Voice last night, then you're ahead of the curve on this one: an incredible singer from Bigfork, Montana made his first appearance on the show, and delivered a great rendition of "Drops of Jupiter" by Train.

The guy's name is Tommy Edwards, and he mentions he's been living in Bigfork for the last ten years. The video occasionally cuts back to his family watching at home and cheering him on - presumably, also from Bigfork. Tommy has a wife and two daughters who live with him in Montana, and got his start opening for his dad's band in his hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Tommy made a huge impression on the judges during the show - Blake Shelton compared him to the Black Crowes and sees a lot of potential with him as a rock artist. Tommy had the choice to choose between Blake's team and John Legend's team... and ultimately, he decided to join up with Team Blake.

So now, we've just got to see how he does! We'll be following Tommy's progress throughout this season of The Voice and reporting it back as he keeps moving on. Who knows, he might even win the whole thing!

Are you rooting for Tommy Edwards on this season of The Voice? Have you ever seen him perform in or around the Bigfork area? And tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet? Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day and head back to the Milky Way?

Whoops - it seems I've got "Drops Of Jupiter" stuck in my head now. Thanks a lot, Tommy!
