Two mule deer were shot and killed and their carcasses left on private property east of Hamilton. Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks said the two bucks were found near the end of Charley's Gulch Road. Wardens said the deer were shot and abandoned near the road, in the vicinity of a gate on the US Forest Service boundary. Only a small portion of meat was taken from one deer. The incident happened since Friday, November 1st, according to a news release. If anyone has information or observations to report, they're asked to call Warden Singleterry at 406-240-0774.
