The Sheriff and Missoula County Coroner, T.J. McDermott has released the names of the three individuals who lost their lives as a result of a two-vehicle head-on collision on Saturday afternoon on West Broadway near the Missoula airport.

65 year-old Andrew Depuydt and his 57 year-old wife Suzanne Depuydt were struck head-on by a vehicle driven by 34 year-old Ryan Smith of Missoula. All three individuals died as a result of blunt force trauma. The Montana Highway Patrol is still investigating the fatal crash.

At about 4:30 on Saturday afternoon, three Missoula residents were killed in a two car head-on crash that occurred on West Broadway near the Missoula airport.

A dispatcher from the Montana Highway Patrol provided the following narrative of what occurred.

"There were two vehicles involved," she said. "Vehicle one was a Jeep Cherokee, and vehicle two was a Ford Taurus.The Jeep Cherokee was westbound on West Broadway, reportedly speeding, The vehicle swerved across all lanes of traffic impacting vehicle two that was eastbound on West Broadway. All occupants were pronounced dead on scene. Vehicle one was driven by a 34 year-old male from Missoula, while vehicle two had a 65 year-old male from Missoula and a 57 year-old female from Missoula."

The Missoula County Coroner has not yet released the names of the victims of Saturday's triple fatality.
